Feeding Center - Soweto Village,Lodwar

This are the children who are being taken care of by the Unembraced Ministry in Soweto Village in Lodwar town of Kenya.
The church is trying to provide one meal during the day for this children. This is just one meal that can take them through out the day till the next day.
Sometimes the food which is being offered in the church is not enough for this children. It only takes the hand of God.
I plead for friends and partners to provide for this children so that they can be able to access education, food, clothings and spiritual growth. This orphans need your love, prayers and your material support in terms of funds so as to buy enough food for them.
In case of any prayers or any other assistance for this kids, please kindly contact Jr.woodward of Kairos La

My time in USA

I thank God for JR Woodward Ward for flying me and Moses Lorukudi to USA in the Month of August and September 2008. We have been friends with JR. Woodward since 2005 when he visited our Church here in Lodwar Kenya. Since then we have been partners and friends in different areas f Ministry. i.e Solis Foundation, Orphans through the Unembraced Ministry. When I was in the states we shared different possibilities of helping the Turkana Nomadic children to access education, Medical attention and spiritual nourishment. Through the Unembraced program we are going to assist a number of children through churches in Lodwar and we are starting with 20 children in the community of Lodwar town. We are going to draw these children from different areas in Lodwar but focused in the IPHC (K) Church here in Lodwar. The Children will be supported under the foster program of $ 25 per month for the foster parents.
I am hereby thankful for Mike Thomas, Don,Graig the communicators in both Canvas groups, Andrew Kim and the Kairos LA for hosting us and making us busy. I am also proud of Peter Marshall for allowing us to us his room for a couple of days in LA, I am also grateful for Jenniffer Collins and Catherine they are such great ladies to work with.

RAIN

The River Kawalase which is situated in the Northern part of the Lodwar town was over flowing such that the it was hard for the vehicles topass throught the bridge. The Vehicles from Lake Turkana and Kakuma and Lokichogio could not come to Lodwar.

We are now experiencing some little rain in some parts of the district
though the animals are still in bad state. It will took them some time to recover from drought.
